My 22 month old got 'brown bear brown bear' when she was 18 months and since then she has absolutely byhearted the book and recites it even when woken from sleep. Oh she also includes her own lyrics like 'Mickey mickey what do you see' or 'ducky ducky what do you see' 'mummy mummy what do you see'. Unfortunately the book was a paperback and it was so loved by her that it ended up in shreds.

I wanted to replace it with a board book but didn't want to buy the same book and was scrolling down.... when.... tada!!!! 'Polar bear polar bear what do you hear!!??' I knew she would love it and she does... She hisses like a 'boconstitor' flutes like a 'famingo' and yelps like a peacock!! I can't be happier. Do buy!

Polar bear, polar bear what do you hear?....a five star rating. My son and I love reading and reciting this book all day long. We of course have the other Eric Carle books that are similar.

Cute sequel to "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you See?", but "Polar Bear, Polar Bear" focuses on the sense of hearing using animal characters

So the quality of the book is amazing. Beautiful illustrations, love the different random animals selected for this story.. my one complaint is that it doesn't read as rhythmically as Brown Bear, Brown Bear. Still a cute story though.

My 1 1/2 year old son has been obsessed with Brown Bear by Bill Martin Jr. so I decided to try this book (and the Panda Bear version) out as well. They are all very similar but yet different enough to be their own special books. My son loves all 3. He now brings me all 3 books to read instead of just the one. They have nice thick pages too that are great for little hands. I highly recommend!!!

A great follow up to Brown Bear, Brown Bear. Fun to read and great artistic pictures. Its fun helping my daughter figure out what the animals are.

Our daughter loved these books when she was younger. We enjoyed reading them to her -they were fun and not too cutesy. We have started giving this title and a few others as baby gifts because we liked them so much. It is pleasantly illustrated and worded.

Ours held up very well and could have easily been passed along, however we decided to keep them. They are a pleasant reminder of that period of time and hopefully one day will be passed along to our grandchildren.
My son loved the brown bear book so much I had to get this one & it's a winner in our house as well. It took him awhile to say "what do you hear" instead of "what do you see" but once he got it he loved it. Some of the animals were a little more advanced then brown bear though but he still enjoyed it.
